June Carter Cash
Valerie June Carter Cash was born on 23 June, 1929 in Maces springs, Virginia. She was an American country artist, songwriter, author and actor. She began to perform with the group Carter Family in 1939. In 1952 June she married Carl Smith. They had a daughter together, Carlene Carter. Five years later she married the policeman Edvin "RIP" Nix and they also had a daughter, Rosie Nix Adams. But that wouldn't last any longer because 1969 she got married to Johnny Cash after he'd proposed to her at stage in London. Together they had a son, John Carter Cash.

In 2001 June got a pacemaker inplanted because of her bad condition. Unfortunately she died on 15 May, 2003 in Nashville, Tennessee Johnny Cash held her hand when she passed away.
